Chrome Ore Beneficiation (COB)

The COB plant takes run-of-mine chromite and raises it to a chrome-to-iron ratio the furnaces can use, through crushing, screening, jigging, spiral and table concentration, thickening and tailings management. The department carries both a production line and its own mechanical maintenance group, and its recovery and yield numbers feed straight into smelter economics.
