Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I)

E&I owns everything from the incoming high tension yard down to the last field transmitter: furnace transformers and electrode regulation, HT and LT distribution, motors and variable frequency drives, PLC and SCADA systems, weighing and process instrumentation. Statutory electrical safety and the supervisory licence obligations under the CEA regulations sit with this department.
