Mechanical Maintenance

Mechanical maintenance covers the plant's rotating and static equipment — furnace mechanicals, briquetting presses, crushers, conveyors, pumps, compressors, hydraulics and the utility systems behind them. The group plans and executes shutdowns, runs the preventive maintenance calendar, and drives mean-time-between-failure improvement on the equipment that stops production when it stops.
