Key responsibilities
- Prepare the daily raw material stock position and the daily MIS report for the HOD's morning meeting.
- Prepare burden mix and charge mix for different product grades, in line with ore availability, the marketing plan and customer requirements.
- Prepare weekly and monthly MIS and performance reports, including carbon and chrome balance, and reports for the Chairman's review meeting.
- Prepare the weekly and monthly OPE and loss cost matrix for the TPM Secretariat.
- Prepare the monthly production and charge mix plan, the monthly business plan and the yearly business plan.
- Prepare the monthly and holiday shift schedules and send them to the Time Office on time.
- Pull data from SAP, keep it accurate and follow SAP compliance norms.
- Maintain and store historical data, and find past data quickly when someone needs it.
- Send reports and information to other departments on time.
- Implement Office TPM in the department and take part in TPM circle activities (KK, QM, OTPM).
- Meet ISO and IMS requirements and support management initiatives such as TPM and Six Sigma.
- Cut costs by using fewer office consumables.
Qualifications and experience
- B.Tech/B.E. (Metallurgy, Chemical or Mechanical) or B.Sc/M.Sc; an MBA is a plus
- 5–8 years in production MIS or planning in the ferro alloys, steel or metals industry
- Hands-on with SAP (PP/MM modules preferred) and advanced MS Excel
- Knows charge mix/burden calculation and material balance (carbon, chrome)
- Has worked with TPM, ISO/IMS or Six Sigma
- Strong analytical skills, pays close attention to detail, and meets reporting deadlines
